yeah, it seems that both the italians and the japanese are among the masters of contemporary color and style.

great stuff, anime art with a euro-style twist; seems inspired by the renown artist Murakami. he's one of many iconic artists in Japan of this medium; but he's arguable the foremost master.
Murakami has an awesome exhibit going on right now at the Brooklyn Museum, till July, with a lot of his signature merchandise (shirts, bags, etc) for sale at the shop there; its collectable stuff too!
